23-year old Alison Carroll has been unveiled as the brand new face of Lara Croft. Earlier today she appeared before the media for the first time during a press conference at Pineapple Studios in London, England.

For the new Tomb Raider game, slated for a November release, Carroll will be the face of Croft, joining the long list of ladies who have held the title.

According to the press on the morning of her first major meeting with the producers, the young actress got locked in her apartment: “I am on the first floor and the only way out was over the balcony in true Lara style,” she said. “I chucked my bags over the balcony, over I went, then jumped on to the fence and got down. We got to the meeting on time to find out I’d got the role!”

The 23-year-old brunette is definitely fit for the part, with a stunning combination of beauty and athletic ability. She’s won multiple first place trophies in regional and national competitions and is a BGA accredited Club Coach in Tumbling, Sports Acrobatics, and General Gymnastics.
