Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed their first child into the world this morning.

Keith wrote on his website, “Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today.”

Nicole recently said: “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely.”

And up to the day before she gave birth, she stayed active, ( below are pictures of Nicole on her way to a yoga class on Sunday afternoon.

“She’s never been happier and healthier,” says a close family friend of Kidman. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”

As for Keith, he shared his wife’s excitement about a new addition to their family. “The unknown excites me a lot. What kind of feelings will fatherhood bring? I’m sure I can’t even imagine, but I am really looking forward to finding out.”
